WHY UNDERSTAND GEMSTONE MEANINGS?
Having a better understanding of what these beautiful stones and gemstones symbolize empowers you to choose out ones that resonate with you.
When creating your custom pieces, this is the start of the journey: deciding what stones to include. Many people begin with a longer list than will be used, to give some versatility in the color theme as well as the empowerment theme.
BEGIN
Begin with thinking what you would like your jewelry to support:
- Are you having problems with love?
- Are you depressed at work?
- Are you afraid to face the day?
- Are you working through trauma?
- Are you starting a new adventure in life?
NEXT
Next think about some positive aspects to the situation.
For instance:
Problems with love: perhaps you need to love yourself more first? Need more confidence, want to face the world boldly, want to be yourself first and foremost?
Depressed at work: you need more courage and resilience, you want to be more creative to find solutions, need to communicate better with co-workers?
COLORS
Think about the main color or colors that make you happy when you see them. Color has a bit influence on our hearts and souls. Do you have a beautiful article of clothing in the closet that you never wear cause every time you put it on the color just doesn't mesh? Or an expensive lipstick that's been used just once cause the color is just a little bit off?
If you don't love the color, you won't love the piece no matter how expensive it is, but if you love the color, you'll love the piece no matter how inexpensive it is.
FINALLY
Browse through the stones looking first for the colors that call to you, then check their meanings, and list down the ones that match your list.
You may find others that you are drawn too as well, list those too because there is probably some reason your heart has said 'Hey, that stone rocks!'
Once you have your list created, send it to me and we'll start working together on a design and finalizing all the details.
My power stone collection is always growing and evolving, if there's a stone you don't see here but you want to use, list it too, I might be able to get it for you.
The meanings listed for each stone is also no comprehensive, if you like a stone that doesn't match your list of needs, look it up online and you may find other purposes for it that I didn't put down.
NOTE:
Not all stones are available in all sizes, but most are available in 4mm and 6mm size.
